 Pour on the Tour
Pour on the Tour is a pub-golf event to raise funds and awareness for the Dickerson Center for Children (DCC) and Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR). It will be held over the weekend of the PGA Championship Tournament, with a kick-off party at Bogart’s on Friday, August 13th, and a Vista bar crawl on Saturday, August 14th. This event is sponsored by West Metro, Cayce/West-Columbia, and Vista Nights Rotary clubs.
Friday, August 13th
- What: Good people, good times, and good discounts. A limited number of official “Pour on the Tour” t-shirts will be available--first-come, first-serve.
- When: 6-11pm
- Where: Bogart’s Bar & Restaurant (530 12th Street, West Columbia)

Saturday, August 14th
- What: The official “Pour on the Tour” bar crawl!!!
- When: 5-11pm
- Where: Meet at Gervais & Vine (620-A Gervais Street) at 5pm, end at Kelly’s Deli & Pub (1001 Washington Street) at 11pm. We’ll crawl through other Vista bars (Flying Saucer, Sly Fox, Oyster Bar, Wild Wing Café, Jillian’s, Uncle Louie’s, Wet Willie’s, SakiTumi, Blue, Carolina Ale House) in between.
Pub-Golf Instructions
- Optional: Tell your friends, family, and co-workers you’re pub-golfing for charity--ask them to sponsor your team! Bring all contributions to Bogart’s on August 13th or Gervais & Vine on August 14th.
- Optional: Put on your best golf attire (bonus points for dressing up!)
- Arrive at Gervais & Vine at 5pm on Saturday, August 14th
- Partner up--each team should have 2 players, with 1 scorecard per team.
- Look for the trivia question at each bar--write the answer on your scorecard. Each correct answer earns points at the end of the night, and the team with the most points wins a prize! If you don’t know the answer to a question, you can make up for it by buying a mulligan (cash only).
- Purchase raffle tickets for additional prizes along the way (cash only).
- We’ll move from bar-to-bar throughout the night, answering trivia about golf, Columbia, and Rotary International. Take advantage of your drink discounts (included with ticket purchase) at each participating location!
- Make your final stop at Kelly’s Pub & Deli for food and prizes!
Prizes for:
- Most points
- Best golf attire
- Most sponsorship money raised
- Raffle drawings
- Most tickets sold
- When it’s all over, get your discounted sober ride home from Zingo Columbia.

You must be over 21 to participate in the bar crawl, but donations are welcome regardless of age!
The DCC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a healing environment that addresses the effects of child abuse. From administering mental and physical healthcare to assisting with complicated legal matters, DCC provides comprehensive support and resources for children who have been physically or sexually abused.
