Laurie is a Senior Agent at SLED with 20 years of experience with abused children.

Joni Kroll, Vice Chairwoman,
Joni was a volunteer nurse for the DCC for many years and is a former DCC Board Chair.

Jay Phillips
Jay is the Lexington County Sheriff’s Dept liasion officer. He was one of the first directors of the DCC, when it was the “Lexington County Children’s Center”.

Sharon Walden, Treasurer
Sharon works for Burkett, Burkett, Burkett’s Resourceone as an accountant.

Marti Weaver
Marti works for Midlands Tech in their Educational Talent Search division. She and her husband care for retired racing Greyhounds.

Jackie F. Brothers, Secretary
Jackie is a Captain with the West Columbia Police Department. He’s also very active in Village Square Theater in Lexington.

Rosemary is the Program Coordinator at Lexington DSS and has been involved with DCC for a long time.

Melinda Dufford
Melinda retired from BB&T; and was a Vice President in charge of the West Columbia branch. She’s a very active fundraiser.

Barbara retired from SCANA and is a very active fundraiser for DCC.

Rita is the newest member of the board and works at the Criminal Justice Academy as an instructor.

Sarah Watkins is the owner of The Art Company, a commercial art company. She is supportive of many functions of DCC, including being a very active fundraiser.

Mollie is a partner in The Taylor Law Firm and a former DCC board chair. She also founded the Fun(d)raisers.
